Saguaro National Park West

The Tucson Loop

The Tucson Loop is also known as The Chuck Huckelberry Loop & Rillito River Bike Path. This 131-mile path of car-free bliss is perfect for biking, running, and walking. The Loop goes around Marana, Oro Valley, Tucson, and South Tucson and is also connected to local parks, water stops, restrooms, restaurants, farmers markets, and more! Learn more by clicking here.

Santa Cruz River

For centuries Santa Cruz River has supported native agriculture. Throughout Tucson you may notice that most parts of the river are dry river bed but the watered river in Marana provides sanctuary to migrant birds. Thick vegetation also creates cool summer shade for year-round resident birds in the area. You can also find tracks of bobcats, racoons, and more throughout the shoreline. Learn more here.

Mount Lemon

The Santa Catalina Mountains highest peak, Mount Lemon is a beautiful retreat away from the city. Enjoy a scenic drive up Mount Lemon and explore the local hiking trails, picnic and camping areas.
